In early 2014 a very large Silky oak (Grevillea robusta) died in our garden in Camberwell.
The mature tree was well over 25 metres in height, 14 metres in canopy spread and with a trunk of 730mm in diameter. It was nestled in a large border surrounded by tree ferns, large camellias and bedding plants. The tree was also very close to our Victorian home, with the trunk only about 6 metres from the house. There was limited access through a narrow front garden gate.
In a well-executed project over two days a team from Arborco did a very professional job taking the tree down. The team carefully cut the branches and took the trunk down in sections without any damage to the surrounding plants. As requested, everything was removed. The lawn was protected by boards, and all care taken in cleaning the sawdust off the grass. The stump was removed a couple of days later and care taken with that as well.
The team members were professional in their dealings with myself and communicated with me at all times.
I highly recommend the Arborco team.
